Spa Water is a refreshing and no- to low-calorie alternative to sodas. The combinations are endless. All you need is some fresh fruit, complementary herbs, and plenty of water. Strawberry, mint, and lime is a great combo. Another good one is blackberry and sage.
Spa Water (makes about 3 gallons)
1 large container of strawberries, sliced thin
2 seedless cucumbers, sliced thin
4 limes, sliced thin
1 small package of mint leaves, roughly torn
1. Add the strawberries, cucumbers, limes, and mint to the bottom of a large container. I used this large clear one with a spout on the bottom. I initially got this last year to serve margaritas in for a barbecue.
2. Fill container to the top with water. Use a wooden spoon to gently stir the water.
3. Refrigerate for at least one hour. This will keep for about 5 days. You can also add more water as you drink. The fruit can take being used about twice. The longer it sits, the more flavorful the water becomes, but do not keep it longer than 5 days.
